We gather weekly to connect with one another and the natural world; come to work in the garden, be nourished by a workshop, or to simply be with others and feel supported on your parenting journey.

Know Before You Go

Gatherings are free and open to children of all ages and people in all stages of parenthood, from pregnancy and beyond.  There is no sign-up, but we do ask that folks sign-in upon arrival.

During the rainy season, we gather at the Brentwood Darlington Community Center, there is a small parking lot on site, or plenty of street parking. Please bring a vessel for tea.

Gatherings start at 9:30 and end at 11:30. You may come and go as you please, there is no hard start time. But we do have set times for our workshops - see our calendar. And we ask that folks respect the end time of 11:30, as the community center space needs to transition to other use at 12.

During the dry season. we meet at the Green Thumb Community Orchard; please park on 57th and enter through the orchard gate at the north end of the site. Please bring a vessel for tea, a blanket, snacks, and anything you need to keep you and your family comfortable.  As a part of community care, feel free to sign up to offer snacks or help set up or break down here

We are a community with our hands and heart in the soil, dancing with the rhythms and cycles of the garden, we gather to connect with the each other and natural world. We invite folks to contribute and participate in our collective growth, in as much as one is able and has capacity for.  We look forward to getting our hands dirty and sharing a cup of tea with you!

Gathering and Workshop News: January 2023

Partum Gardens is excited to implement a few things this season for the growth and sustainability of this community.

First off, the weekly gathering will always and forever remain a free offering. We will continue to facilitate the space with intention, tea, and bodywork, as well as share weekly garden gifts and tasks along with seasonal herbal wisdom.

We will continue to incorporate workshops into our weekly gatherings 2x/month. We are also happy to announce that we will begin a monthly weekend workshop! Workshops will differ from the gathering wellness activities (tea, bodywork, etc) in that participants will take home the garden and herbal products.

We will implement a sliding scale fee for our workshops starting February 1, 2023. We see this fee as a reciprocal exchange of energy that will help to sustain and improve the quality of the workshops. It will also help us cover the costs associated with providing the workshops, such as materials and equipment.  No one will be turned away for lack of funds, we will offer alternative options such as scholarships or reduced fee for those who cannot afford it.

We value your support and are always open to feedback, thanks for helping Partum Gardens continue to grow into a healing and supportive space for birthing bodies and our families.

May we grow and thrive together!
