Postpartum Nutrition & Electrolyte Drinks with Gather Around Nutrition!

Chef Johanna & Chef Jed are passionate about sharing their nutrition knowledge and are excited to become more integrated into the Partum Gardens community! We will be teaching about our nutritional approach to postpartum care, as well as sharing more information about the meal care packages we offer that are focused on healing birthing bodies and supporting lactation. Our menu is based on traditional healing practices from around the world that center on easy-to-digest warming and nourishing dishes to support healing and comfort. This in-person class will be focused on teaching the basics of our postpartum food philosophy, then we will move into making several different homemade electrolyte drinks containing nourishing herbs. No one turned away for lack of funds!

Weekly Gathering & Community Grief Ritual

Community Grief Ritual to honor the life of Brianna Spencer, a beloved member of the Partum Gardens community at 10:30.

Spring Equinox- We’ll delight in the abundance springing forth from the Earth, and are excited to host Chelsea Biagioli, mom, alchemist, breathworker, herbalist, for a distillation workshop!

‘I started Olive of the Sea in the Fall of 2021 with a dream of sharing the gentle joys of hydrosols. After falling deeply in love with breathwork and its capacity to release. I have layered it deeply in my day to day life. I’ve expanded my practice to be both hydrosol distillation & facilitation of breathwork sessions. They are deeply intertwined in my own rituals that have been pillars for my mental health & wellbeing.’ Find more at oliveofthesea.com

Welcome back!! And happy almost Full Moon! (happening Jan 25th)

We are thrilled to begin the new year by gathering in a new space, the Brentwood Darlington Community Center, located at 7211 SE 62nd, just a couple blocks from where we gather at Green Thumb (just south of the park, and behind Lane Middle School). ** note that at this space we must wrap up gatherings at 11:30

Partum Gardens is a partner in the Birds for Gaza Portland effort, and we’ll have an area for folks to make birds and hold space for collective grief. Birds of Gaza is a community art project to craft unique birds to remember every child killed in Israel's war on Gaza. Through the power of collective art we're highlighting the atrocities that have led to over 8,800 children (and counting) being mercilessly killed. Find more information here

Virgo New Moon Cider Press Day!!!

We have rented a cider press to alchemize all the fallen fruit in the orchard into yummy cider! Bring any apples or pears from your yards and neighborhoods (please make sure they haven’t been sprayed and aren’t close to a road), and bring jugs or other containers to bring home the abundance.

We will connect with the Virgo archetype that asks us to create new routines and rituals that support the health and wellbeing of our bodies and the Earth.
